- The Big and the Small Javorník - The Javorníky are located in the West of Slovakia, on the border to the Czech Republic. The highest peak is the Big Javornik with 1071 height. The ridge is not made of rocks, but covered mostly with grass, offering a nice view especially to the West, to the Czech Republic. The neigbouring Little Javornik is 1,019 meters tall.

- Podskalský Roháč - a striking rock ridge with numerous rocky formations, windows, tunnels and massive rocks, with steep to vertical walls.
- Strážov - a complex of five peaks containing karst creations, such as caves and chasms, and two smaller waterfalls.
- Vršatské Rocks - a national nature reserve, a limestone massif of the White Carpathians with preserved rock and forest communities of thermophilic and mountainous plant and animal species. ( more links: 1 )
- Bosmany - a typical example of cliff relief forms. Three separately standing pie-like towers, dominated by the Skala rock (the Rock in Slovakian), with distinct and deep rifts.
- The Dragon’s Hole - a 60 meters long cave.
- The Devil’s Rock - a natural creation near the village of Brvnište.
- Prečínska Rock - a water-created limestone rock near the village of Prečín.
- Podjavorník Ski Resort - located 10 km from Papradno. Lifts: Tatra Poma H 130 - 860 m, Tatra Poma H 130 - 500 m, Tatra Poma P - 350 m, children’s lift - 250 m.
- Ski Centre Čertov - a ski resort with three lifts and four ski runs, with artificial lighting (3,000 m), two restaurants and a buffet.
